Kuru AI
The AI assistant and crew built into every Kuru Chat workspace — triage, reporting, and hygiene handled for you.
Meet Kuru
Kuru is the AI layer built into Kuru Chat — not a bolt-on chatbot, but a participant in your workspace. It works alongside your team in channels and takes on routine operational work through its crew.
What the crew does
Kuru ships with real crew delegation for the work that usually eats a team's day:
Triage
Incoming messages — especially from unknown senders in client channels — get sorted, matched to contacts, and routed so nothing sits unread.
Reporting
Ask for a summary and Kuru compiles it from real workspace activity instead of you assembling it by hand.
Hygiene
Routine cleanup and bookkeeping across your workspace, keeping channels and records tidy as volume grows.
How conversation works
When you talk to Kuru, responses stream live into the channel as they're generated. Once a turn finishes, the completed exchange is written to the permanent message record — so what you see in the transcript is exactly what's stored.
Kuru answers where the question was asked. Client-channel questions can be answered by staff and Kuru together, in the same thread the client sees.
Good to know
- Kuru operates inside your workspace's tenancy and permissions — it sees what your team sees, nothing more.
- Crew roles are expanding over time as new capabilities ship during the alpha and beta.
